Phyllo Cups: Your Secret Weapon for Irresistible Party Bites!🥳

Hello Reader!

You can put just about anything in a phyllo cup!

If you love the idea of a yummy little bite that you can serve friends and family, the phyllo dough cup can be your secret weapon! From sweet to savory, you pretty much can't go wrong with layering flavors in these crunchy little store-bought crusts!

You might not be ready for cranberry yet (why am I totally craving it already!?) so save this email for the holidays and scroll down for two that are perfect for wrapping up summer.

I don't even have this recipe on my site but I wanted to share a quick recipe with sweet and tangy flavors along with two savory ones below!

Cranberry Brie Phyllo Bites

Make as many or as few as you need!

Ingredients:

  • 15 frozen phyllo shells
  • wheel or wedge of brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (can be homemade or store-bought)
  • orange zest (if using canned sauce)
  • fresh rosemary (or thyme!)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven according to the directions on the box of your phyllo dough cups (most likely 350 degrees).
  2. Put phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
  3. Remove the rhind of the brie and cut the cheese into fifteen 1-inch cubes (1 for each cup).
  4. Put a piece of brie in each cup.
  5. Bake for about 8 minutes, the brie should be nice and melty.
  6. In the meantime, lightly heat the cranberry sauce (microwave for 30 seconds and check) and add orange zest if needed. Stir together.
  7. When the cups are ready and the sauce is heated, add about 1/2 teaspoon to each cup.
  8. Top with fresh rosemary and serve immediately.

Use this same idea to make all kinds of easy yummy treats! How tasty does a spoonful of Nutella and some chopped strawberries sound?!

Enjoy!
